How relevant is SAP Basis?
SAP Basis Operation is responsible for ensuring the technical functionality of an SAP system. It includes all the technical components mentioned above. These are used to perform the following tasks.

By establishing a new role concept and building new roles, the SAP basis has the skills necessary to support new tasks and topics as well as to operate new technology and service forms. The relevant roles are listed below.

"Shortcut for SAP Systems" is a PC application that simplifies or even facilitates many activities in the SAP basis.

If you want to use Ansible to implement simple automations - starting and stopping SAP environments, for example - you have to put up with a lot of manual effort and complicated scripts.
