Maintain proposed values using trace evaluations
You want to maintain suggestion values for existing applications, but are you tired of the time-consuming manual maintenance? There's a new way! Maintenance of proposed values can vary greatly depending on company specifications or security guidelines. Depending on the requirements, the suggested values provided by SAP may be sufficient or need to be supplemented.
You can send a signed e-mail to the system you want to announce the certificate to. For example, this is a useful alternative when emailing addresses outside your organisation. A prerequisite for this solution is that a signature certificate exists for your SAP system, in whose certificate list the certificate authority certificate - or certificates - of your users have been imported.
Maintenance Status
The default authorization roles of the new SAP system for consolidation and planning, SAP Group Reporting, are shown in the following graphic. It does not matter whether the system is accessed via the browser (Fiori Launchpad) or via local access (SAP GUI). The authorization roles shown in the graphic merely indicate the technical specifications preset by SAP. The following effect is to add transactions to a role when the added transaction is announced through the role menu of the role and various criteria are met.
For the assignment of existing roles, regular authorization workflows require a certain minimum of turnaround time, and not every approver is available at every go-live. With "Shortcut for SAP systems" you have options to assign urgently needed authorizations anyway and to additionally secure your go-live.
In the basic data for the year, you then define which hierarchies should be used per fiscal year.
